We remove Supervisor Passwords (SVP) and Certificate-Based BIOS Authentication (CBA) from Lenovo ThinkPads. For single devices, entire fleets and detached mainboards.
So far, we have been able to unlock every device we have worked on.
For ITAD providers, refurbishers, remarketers & businesses
Forgotten your Lenovo ThinkPad BIOS password or bought a locked used device? Supervisor Password (SVP) and Certificate-Based BIOS Authentication (CBA) protect administrative access to the device. We remove these locks so you can configure and reuse your ThinkPad. For single devices and business fleets, we agree scope and feasibility before shipping.
Search by model or MTM; your ThinkPad’s four-character machine type is also sufficient. The device finder shows the platform, price group and our current verification status. You can also enquire about unlisted or unverified models: a lack of testing does not automatically mean that unlocking is impossible. Model details carry directly into your service request.
We agree the next steps with you before you ship. Back up your data and remove the SSD if you can do so safely; otherwise, discuss shipping with us first. We need neither access to your files nor your BitLocker recovery key. The full process page also explains preparation, packaging and return shipping.

The processor platform determines the price group. Switch between prices excluding VAT for businesses and prices including VAT for private customers. Unlocking fees apply only if the unlock succeeds. The pricing page explains shipping, possible additional charges and express processing; we provide individual quotes for larger quantities.
