Optional visitor statistics and your choice

We load the statistics services listed below only after your explicit consent. No connection to these services is made before consent or when you decline. You can use the website without statistics. We store your choice for up to 180 days in a technically necessary cookie. It contains your choice and its configuration version, not a visitor identifier. You can change or withdraw consent at any time on the privacy page via “Change statistics choice”. The page then reloads and further loading stops. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. The legal basis for optional analytics is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where your device is accessed, Section 25(1) of the German TDDDG.

Website operation and hosting

This website is provided through ChatGPT Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure. Technically necessary connection data, such as IP address, access time, requested page and browser information, is processed to deliver and secure the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is a secure and functioning website. Infrastructure providers may process data outside the EU. Further details about providers and their safeguards are available in the privacy policies linked below.

Contact and service requests

We process the contact details, device information and messages you submit to respond to your request and prepare or perform a service contract. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and, for company representatives, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Required details allow us to identify and respond to your enquiry. Please do not send passwords, BitLocker recovery keys or personal drive contents.

Email drafts and PDF generation

Form entries are saved in local browser storage on this device for up to 24 hours. Confirmations and signatures are not saved. You can delete the draft in the form. If browser storage is blocked, entries remain only until you leave the page. When you submit a request, the required details are transmitted to us. To generate a PDF, your details are sent to the server and processed for that purpose. Creating a PDF or email draft does not send an enquiry. PDF generation does not store the details permanently on the server.

Appearance, language and local preferences

The selected appearance is stored locally in your browser. On entry, we choose the language based on your preferred browser language; pages opened through a specific language URL keep that language. A manual language choice is stored in the “unlockng-language” cookie for up to one year, solely to remember that choice on your next visit. A private preview may also use the hosting provider’s sign-in and security mechanisms.

Retention and recipients

Submitted enquiries are kept as long as needed to respond and carry out the service. Statutory retention obligations and the protection of legal claims may require longer retention. Access is limited to people handling the enquiry and necessary technical providers. Your details are not used for advertising without an appropriate basis.

Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability. You may object to processing based on a legitimate interest. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

Direct form delivery

We use Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) to send contact and service requests directly. Our server sends your details over an encrypted connection to Resend and to our relevant email inbox. The message also includes your enquiry as a PDF and as a structured data file (JSON). We use this information to process your enquiry. Messages are processed and stored in our inbox and by the email provider; the general information on retention and recipients also applies. A successful sending confirmation on the website means that the provider has accepted the message.

Visitor statistics with Ahrefs Web Analytics

With your consent, we use Ahrefs Web Analytics to evaluate website usage and improve content. The provider is Ahrefs Pte. Ltd., 16 Raffles Quay, #33-03 Hong Leong Building, Singapore 048581. Collected data includes page views, referral sources, browser, operating system, device type, language and approximate location (country/city). Ahrefs processes the IP address for location and a daily visitor identifier; the provider states that raw IP addresses are not stored. The standard version used here does not use analytics cookies or persistent visitor identifiers. Automatically collected events may include link clicks and form submissions. We do not submit form entries as custom analytics data. Processing outside the EU/EEA is possible. Google Tag Manager

With your consent, we load Google Tag Manager to manage tags for visitor statistics. The provider for EEA users is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Loading establishes a connection to Google, involving technical data such as your IP address, browser information and HTTP request data. Google states that standard HTTP request logs are deleted within 14 days. Processing by Google LLC in the United States is possible. Tag Manager manages the included tags; each service determines its own data processing. Consent on this website covers statistics only. Google consent signals for advertising and personalised advertising remain denied. The website does not submit form entries as custom tag data. An additional analytics service requires its own privacy information; installing Tag Manager alone does not mean Google Analytics is used.
